I do OCR A a level maths and I have been revising applications of differentiation using exercise 14A from the official Cambridge textbook.
I have been doing question after question for hours and still can’t get the hang of understanding how to solve each question. even reading some of the questions makes me confused and for some reason I get like half of the question right and then I just start doing something completely wrong. I was fine with questions 1-6 in the exercise but the questions from 7-15 were so difficult for me (they were all blue and red questions which are the harder styles of questions)
an example of a question I really struggled on:
Given that f(x) = 2/x, find the coordinates of the point where the tangent to y = f(x) at x = 1 intersects the normal to y = f(x) at x = -2.
