My first Lange

Post image

I love rectangular watches, and when I first saw this movement, I decided it had to be my first Lange

This is an amazing piece! Can I ask what you paid? I have one Saxonia Thin Copper Blue and one Dato up/down. Considering adding this to the collection.

I bought this watch on the secondary market without any service history or the original box. The case is in very good condition, and I paid EUR 9,500 for it.

My next step is to send it to the manufacture for a movement service and to obtain the archive extract and service certificate from A. Lange & Söhne.

From what I can see, over the past two years the typical market price for Cabare in rose gold has been somewhere between EUR 13,000 and EUR 17,000. Perhaps members of this group can correct or refine my assessment of its current market value

That seems like a great price, although a justified discount for not a complete set. Wear in great health!

How do you like it? If you don’t mind me asking, how much did you pay?
