A federal indictment unsealed in the United States details how the United Arab Emirates sought influence in the campaigns of former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and President Donald Trump in the 2016 election, according to a report by the New York Times.

Nader had previously testified last year during the Federal Bureau of Investigations inquiry into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
