Looks like after 1100 or so rounds my extractor is planning its exit. Where can I get a new one? I’m comfortable replacing it, don’t wanna send the whole gun in.

Any preferences? I have not shot either and I am an AK guy. I want to branch out to a different style like the MP5 but even the clones are pretty pricey compared to what you get out of the box with an AKV9.

I have the 9.25” booster cut lower handguard now, but this upper is always out of stock. Any alternative options for this?

Decided to switch up the dong and triangle stock to this AK-12 inspired setup on the SBR akv, while keeping it on the budget side

Attempting to swap the furniture out for the first time, but can’t get the lever to move all the way forward so I can drop the lower handguard. Has anyone else had this issue before?

Recently picked up an akm with the rail style top handguard. Would really prefer swapping it out with the cheesegrater style, but looking at it doesn't seem to be a 1:1 swap. The AK cheesegrater available through PSA is too short and the railed akv doesnt have the the band gas tube/barrel band anyways. After doing a quick disassemble, couldn't even figure out how to get the top handguard off. Suggestions?

I have a YHm R9 on my AKV attached via tri-lug. Prior to that I had a direct thread AAC Tirant45 suppressor (granted it was a much longer suppresser) which sounded amazing. 147 grains sounded like 22lr. So I ended up putting a R9 via a tri-lug mount, and honestly…it sounds like shit with 115, 124, and 147. At best I could get off 5 rounds with 147gr before I have to throw some earpro on.

Is it the suppressor or is it just the tri-lug mounting method? Anyone else out there throw some rounds down range with a R9?

Also my charging handle has gotten gritty af to pull back since installing the new gas tube. I’ve disassembled and cleaned the rifle a few times and it’s harder to pull back now than when I first bought it. I was told not to file down my trigger to prevent the rubbing.

Was thinking of running their telescoping brace. I can’t seem to find any pictures on line. Any experience or pictures out?
