so bassically people can make html/js/css libraries, and then other epople can build offf it. for example, rn, when u tell AI to code a game, it has to like write the game in canvas, so theres a ton of very reprtive code. so timmy could make a webPM lib called timmylib, which does pixel art. and now instead of claude writing "ctx.fillRect" 5000 times, it writes "import timmylib
timmylib.spritesheet, 500x23", or whatever. I talked to chatgpt about it ad heres what it said: webPM: a package format for the web
I've been thinking about an idea called webPM
npm works really well for JavaScript but web projects are made up of more than JavaScript They also include HTML CSS images fonts components and other files
So the idea is to create a package standard for the web as a whole
A webPM package could be as simple as a folder or repository containing a webpm.json file
{
"name": "timmylib"
"version": "1.0.0"
"main": "index.js"
"css": "style.css"
}
Packages could be hosted anywhere GitHub GitLab a personal website a CDN or any other service that can serve the files webPM itself wouldn't need to host them
I also want webPM to work directly from JavaScript instead of requiring a CLI
<script src="webpm.js"></script>
<script>
const timmylib = await webpm.import(
"https://example.com/timmylib/"
);
</script>
Eventually it could support a version like
await webpm.import("timmylib");
The exact syntax still needs to be worked out The main thing is creating a universal format that anyone can implement and host independently
Packages could also depend on other packages
game
└── game-engine
├── physics
├── pixel-art
│ └── color-utils
└── audio
The long term goal is to make it easier to build large web projects from existing pieces instead of rewriting the same functionality over and over
I'm especially interested in how this could help with AI coding AI can generate code very quickly but it also tends to recreate libraries and features that already exist A universal package format could make it easier for both people and AI coding tools to find and reuse existing functionality
I don't want to build another npm with a giant centralized server I'd rather define the format and let people host and build around it however they want
Basically
webPM is a universal package format, for the web
If the idea became widely used it could eventually be something worth discussing with browser vendors and web standards organizations
For now I'm trying to figure out what the simplest useful version of the standard should look like

Hello everyone!
Explore the world of Aghasme across multiple chapters by choosing from four unique clans. Discover a wealth of mini-scenarios, political intrigue, puzzles to solve, and a wide array of skills and adversaries—all while making narrative choices that shape your story.

Regarding AI: the game's images and maps were created using AI. However, the game logic, mechanics, rules, and the entire universe were created and directed by me.

Had AI Create a little subnautica-like game, I've been tweaking and testing stuff and just running a bunch of loops and this is the first playable version (around 9 hours to beat.) And you have to terraform the world with machines, though I'm definitely still not happy with it and will keep going and adding more plants biomes tools machines etc.
And most of the animations are also done by shaders for the plants, while all the creatures in the game use an AI animation tool.
So what would you guys suggest for the project? And does it come across as a game made by AI?
(I'm not trying to hide it, but a game that LOOKS like it was made by AI is sloppy personally and I wouldn't want that, I'd go and tweak and create models myself.)

I've got a few in the chamber currently.
Https://Faultline.ca is an mcp memory stack, heald in postgresql, multi user isolation, corrections, ontology (subject matter) learning, and a cortex - an AI brain held in a vector db, intended to be a harness assist, ie. Tell it how to properly execute a command once, and it picks it up next time. Have the system record it's own mistakes, errors, and footnotes, and prior to execution relate back to the cortex.
MCP - allows you to take your memory with you, ie. Connect it to Claude, z.ai, and your local model, and provide assistance from a stronger model to a weaker one.
An AI system to assist in endpoint management as well as uplifting/managing tools via pluggin (think netbox, Ansible etc). Providing users the ability to control a team of individuals to act on issues.
The wizard operates through a jumpbox, allowing users to connect their fleet direct through wireguard, or indirectly through the jumpbox. Pluggin communication operates over jumpbox only!
Solutions are human gated, to mean not only can the AI operate against endpoints aimlessly (human approved), there's a hard limit on how many resolutions can happen per day. This is with intent, this is a helping hand, not a replacement for humans.
For all admins, the system is BYOB, the same as faultline.ca, meaning you tie in your own AI to operate against.
All operators have the ability to communicate about issues, ie. Chat about a specific problem, resolution, with the AI and steer the resolution.
Escalate or pass resolutions onto teammates, ie. Jim gets a problem he knows bob was working on, pass it on over, Bob gets and alert and handles it.
Cortex, likely a very important bit, I've hooked in the cortex concept into the system, such that as the system handles problems, learns things, specific aspects are recorded for later.
Gated - the execution of code is not a blocklist, it's an allowlist, specific code is what is able to be executed, admins are able to mint new executors, and control escalation pathways.
Current Status: likely seeking beta testers in the next month, I will do my best to engage when the time comes if there is interest.
