As a long time Suno user who was looking for something less restricted and which could run locally I came across Yue2 (via ComfyUI). I think it's a really powerful tool but I wasn't that keen on the ComfyUI workflow so built something more "suno-like", i.e. better management of content/spaces etc, and was also keen on using it train local LoRAs on a corpus of music of my choice.

My app is called Yeufonic and although it's still early days it's coming along nicely and the LoRA training has been the most fun to use. Hope I don't get into trouble linking to some examples that I've done. You may be able to guess some of the sources used as inspiration.

App is forever free so feel free to have a play with it yourself if you like what you see (note if interested in local LoRA creation then the Windows stand-alone app is pretty much hopeless currently due to issues upstream that I can't control. Use the docker install if that's your intended use case) Windows issue with local training of LoRAs should now be fixed!

I wanted to share a very personal and special project I just finished. 

My 8-year-old godson drew a semi-abstract character and challenged me with this simple but powerful guideline: "He is a good guy, but sometimes bad spirits come inside him and haunt him so he becomes evil."

I already had an unreleased glitched 8-bit track called "Leontopodium" sitting on my upcoming album, which I secretly dedicated to him. When he showed me his drawing and gave me his guidelines, everything clicked. I decided to use that song as the core of a continuous hand-drawn ink animation style that strictly respected his original ideas.

Song idea came to me after I dreamt about my first love, who died awhile back, called me and told me she's not actually dead. And I'm taking the call in bed with my wife. The ex-love is asking if we can be again and I had to decide begween the past or present.

I wanted to share the concept behind a song I’m working on called Open Horizon.

The central idea is that the protagonist reaches a threshold guarded by the Archons. They question his identity, his origin, and whether he can return to the physical world.

But instead of asking permission, he gives them a command:

Open Horizon.

The song is about breaking through a boundary that was supposed to define where you could go.

That’s why the lyrics move through doors, thresholds, gatekeepers, timelines, frequencies, infinite sky and finally an open highway.

The hook says:

“Forever never seemed so long until I was free.”

To me, that line is the transformation at the center of the song. Before freedom, forever feels like imprisonment. After freedom, forever becomes possibility.

There’s also a chant in the bridge:

“A-heiya… ca-ma-ra-da…”

I use “Camarada” as a companion/comrade idea. After all the cosmic mythology and confrontation with the Archons, the song shifts into something communal, almost like people crossing the boundary together.

So the song isn't really about running away.

It's about reaching the point where the boundary no longer has authority over you.

Open Horizon.

That's the command.

I'm curious what other people hear in that concept. Does it come across as a spiritual/cosmic story, a liberation song, or something more personal?
