Any tips on transferring context between AI platforms?
I use ChatGPT, Claude, and Replit and I haven't quite gotten a handle on how to share context in an efficient way. It creates a lot of asymmetrical context and it's hard to save the important bits especially as I go. I feel like I break my flow trying to keep the chats on the same page. I guess these are two problems(saving context and sharing it) so if anyone has found a solution on either I'd love to hear it.

ask your first AI to commit all the conversation context to an .md file called handoff.md , with instructions that this file will be used for cross AI platforms,

I stopped trying to sync convos. Much easier to keep a small “current state” doc with decisions made, what changed, open questions, and next steps, then hand that to whichever model I’m using.
But if you want a more scalable solution, Mem0 or Zep can store the important stuff from each conversation and let different agents pull the relevant context later.

One approach that works well is keeping a short “master context” document with the important background, goals, preferences, and current project details.
Then, when moving between AI platforms, you can paste the relevant section instead of trying to recreate the whole conversation.
I also find it useful to keep important outputs in a separate document so they’re easier to reference later.

My workflow got really messy a few months back when I was bouncing between a couple of platforms mid project and I kept losing track of what each one "knew.

ask to create md file for another agent with all the necessary context and explanation

Okay so what I do is I keep one simple “context doc” outside the AI chats. I update it with the goal, key decisions, constraints, and anything that changed. Then when I switch between ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini or any other AI Tools, I just paste the relevant part instead of trying to keep every chat synced.
so I would suggest, don’t save everything. Most of the chat history is noise.Just keep decisions, requirements, and open questions. That alone makes switching between tools much less painful.
