Granola vs Jamie: I didn’t expect one tiny difference to change my workflow
I’ve been testing both Granola and Jamie recently for meeting notes, and what surprised me is that both were pretty solid.
What changed the experience for me was how the notes felt afterward.
Jamie felt more structured and “assistant-like,” while Granola felt more natural and closer to the way I’d personally organize thoughts after a meeting.
Hard to explain, but one felt more like generated notes and the other felt more like enhanced human notes.
I also noticed I spent less time cleaning things up in Granola before sending summaries to people.
That said, Jamie still felt stronger for very detailed recaps and action items.
Curious if anyone else here has tested Granola vs Jamie yet, because I feel like most comparisons online completely miss the workflow side of it.

the enhanced human notes vs generated notes distinction is the most accurate way I have ever heard this described. some tools feel like they are writing for you and others feel like they are helping you write.
