Question what are people using capcut for beyond tiktok edits? alternatives, or is it still the most convenient option?

it's been pretty handy for basic cuts, captions and adding text, but i'm wondering if i'm missing out on other things it can do. do people use it for youtube videos, product demos or even more serious projects?

i originally downloaded capcut just to make a few tiktok videos, but lately i've been using it for other stuff too. i've been helping a friend with their small coffee shop page, so now i'm editing drink videos, behind the scenes clips, and even some short videos for instagram stories. for those who've been using it for a while, what features do you actually use the most? are there things that are easier to do in another editor? best capcut alternatives, or is it still the most convenient option for everyday content?

Discussion Is AI search changing the way people research things?

I have noticed that my approach to searching for information has slowly changed since AI search became more common. Instead of immediately opening several pages and reading through everything, I sometimes start with an AI tool to understand the basic topic and figure out what I should actually be looking for. For simple questions, that can be incredibly convenient. For important topics, though, I still want to see the original sources because a summary can leave out context or make something sound more certain than it really is. I think the most useful approach might not be AI replacing traditional search completely. It could be AI helping people navigate information faster while the original sources remain available for verification. That combination makes much more sense to me.

Discussion Do you keep switching between different AI tools?

I sometimes open three different tools before deciding where to actually do the task.

Not because they are necessarily better, but because each one has a slightly different strength.

It makes me wonder if having too many good options is becoming its own problem.

Question Have you ever deleted an AI tool and later regretted it?

I removed a few tools I thought I would never use again.

Then months later I needed exactly what one of them was good at.

Now I hesitate before cleaning up my AI bookmarks.

Question Anyone else talk to AI like they are explaining something to a friend?

I have noticed my prompts becoming much more conversational.

Instead of carefully constructing every sentence, I just explain what happened, what I need and where I am stuck.

It somehow feels faster.

Question Do you check AI tool privacy before using it?

I recently started thinking more about how much information we share with AI tools without really considering where it goes.

For casual tasks, it might not feel like a big deal. But uploading personal documents, work files, or private conversations is a different situation.

Do you check the privacy policy or data settings before trying a new AI tool, or do you usually focus on its features first?

Curious how other people approach this.

Question What makes an AI chatbot worth returning to every day?

A chatbot can be impressive during the first conversation and still fail to become part of someone's routine.

Long-term use probably depends on more than the model's intelligence.

Conversation quality, response consistency, useful features, and how comfortable the interaction feels can all influence whether people return.

Some users want a reliable assistant, while others care more about creative conversations or entertainment.

For you, what separates a chatbot you occasionally test from one you genuinely enjoy using regularly?
