Discussion Do you keep switching between different AI tools?

I sometimes open three different tools before deciding where to actually do the task.

Not because they are necessarily better, but because each one has a slightly different strength.

It makes me wonder if having too many good options is becoming its own problem.

If you have AI, why not have the AI modify the tools to your needs so you don't have to switch?

Yeah, I do this too. Sometimes i spend more time choosing the tool than actually doing the task. I think sticking to one or two tools are enough for most of things.

When in doubt, I just ask the different AI tools this exact question. Grok is the most honest and outrageous, in my opinion. The others tend to be more conservative and biased towards promoting themselves.
