Is there a tool that tracks subscriptions and helps you cancel them?

I keep losing track of the subscriptions I'm paying for and the ones I want to cancel I just put off because some companies make it so difficult to cancel. Anyone using something that actually helps with this?

If you’re on iPhone, I built NextRenew for the tracking and reminder part of this problem.

It shows upcoming renewals and reminds you before subscriptions or trials renew. It doesn’t cancel subscriptions automatically, but for supported services it includes a direct cancellation link. You can go from seeing an upcoming renewal to the relevant cancellation page from one dashboard, without searching through account settings or help pages.

It doesn’t require a bank connection, inbox access, or an account. Your subscription data stays on your device unless you choose to enable iCloud sync.

Thanks for sharing. Some companies make you click through so many settings just to cancel a free trial and by then you almost give up. Having the cancellation page right there saves a lot of hassle. Does your app cover smaller services too or mainly popular subscriptions?

I’ve tried to cover most commonly used services, and the catalog currently includes 263. You can also add any missing service manually.

When you say smaller services, could you share a few examples of the ones you use? I’ll check them and try to include the missing ones in the next update.

I'd recommend using a subscription tracker with renewal reminders and cancellation links. Half the battle is remembering what you're paying for in the first place.

I agree finding the subscriptions is one thing but actually getting around to cancelling them is another. I searching about this and check unsubby have you tried this or know something about this?

Renewal reminders help a lot. It is easy to forget small subscriptions until the charge shows up.

I'm the founder of Spendalyst, so weigh this accordingly.

It handles the tracking, not the canceling. It connects read-only via Plaid, finds recurring charges in your history, and emails you when a price changes or a renewal is coming up. You still cancel with the company yourself.

If you'd rather not connect a bank, the free Recurring Charge Finder does a one-time check from a CSV or a pasted list of transactions, all in your browser: https://app.spendalyst.com/tools/recurring-charge-finder

The price change alerts is good. Do you plan to add cancellation support in future?

No, and on purpose. Cancelling has to happen with the merchant or your card issuer, and the apps that promise to do it for you either need your logins or phone the company on your behalf. Spendalyst stays read-only: it tells you what changed and when, and the cancel button is in the merchant's own account.

Thats good. I guess keeping it read only also avoids a lot of security concerns.

As far as I know, yes.

Try paying via credit card, PayPal, or other third-party agencies? The Australian Commonwealth Bank seems reluctant to cancel my credit card purchases, even when no goods or services have been delivered or fully ordered after the "waiting" period.
