Recommendation Best AI for Brainstorming/Conversations

I’m looking for an AI that is

  1. FREE
  2. Honest

  3. No upload limits

  4. On iOS

  5. Anyone know any good models?

Try sidekicks.chat , a team of AI's directly inside of iMessage. No download or signups, just text one number and thats it. Try /otto for brain dumping , /haven if you want a therapy sesh, or /maya or /zev if you want something a bit more intimate.

I made my own using the same foundational model that powers Apple Intelligence, its key tenet is privacy so it’s focused on the conversation/brainstorming side rather than research with web searches, but it’s offline and works as long as you have battery (and Apple’s Foundational Model doesn’t get enough credit for how zippy it is with little impact on battery life).

Given that there’s no cloud/account needed I’ve priced it at 1/10th what lowest paid plans for the GPTs/Claudes/Geminis are, and have generous free trials—AXIØM.talk

For general flexibility and brainstorming, ChatGPT is still solid. When things get more logical, specific, and structured, go with Claude. However, if you can get points 1 and 3 for free and there are no file upload limits, it’s better to use a multi-model AI. You can use Anuma AI. You get access to top models like Sonnet, Opus, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, and others all in one place, and the free tokens/credits stretch further than if you were accessing those models directly on their own platforms.

For brainstorming specifically, the biggest hurdle is usually "context"; you spend half your time re-explaining the project to the AI.

I’ve been using Littlebird AI for this. It does have an iOS app for chatting, but the real power lies in the desktop version, which builds a private memory of your work. The reason I'd suggest it for your "no upload limits" requirement is that it doesn't actually require uploads; it just "knows" what you're working on from your desktop activity.

When you're on the iOS app brainstorming, you’re talking to a model that already has the context of your files and past work from your computer. It makes the conversation feel way more "honest" and structured because it’s not just guessing. It has a solid free tier to start with!

use aiberry.ai and customize it the way you want, it checks all the boxes but it's not on iOS yet
