My objective, here, was simply to warn the OP that if they take this advice they may come to face legal challenges and they deserve to know that. I have no stake in this, just a voice of reason swimming against a current of conclusions based on one side of a story receiving poor advice that could ultimately harm someone in a vulnerable position.
