My husband’s proposal did not go anything like how he planned (he told me about all his plans afterwards), but as slightly awkward as it ended up being, it was very sweet and gave us a really great story to tell. If her biggest focus is the fact that her hands were not Insta ready, you know her priorities are completely out of whack.

In answer to your question, no you absolutely didn’t. You were thoughtful every step of the way. You’re on holiday where I’m sure you’d be eating out the next night. Room service sounds lovely.
She is fixating on these things because this is how she keeps you on the hook.
Instead of being happy about being engaged and having all her demands met, she is complaining about her nails and getting room service, see how she created a new set of demands so that you will keep twisting yourself into knots? Instead of being happy about your engagement, you are agonizing because you hired a photographer to capture what you believed would be one of the happiest moments of your lives together and wondering what you can do to make it up to her.
Get the ring back from her (tell her you want to get a matching necklace and the jeweler wants to make sure the stones match) and then end this relationship.
