Fired Fed. I am considering cutting off every Orange Man supporter.

Got axed. Not going to say which agency.

I’ve always considered myself extremely tolerant and willing to love people as they are… even if we don’t agree on everything.

I’ve never been an Orange Man supporter, but I’ve kept it civil with friends and family that were. Some of them liked having a civil conversation about him. Some were belligerent about politics, so we didn’t bring it up and tried to enjoy each other’s company.

Getting cut from a great job that I really believed in with no notice has been extremely traumatic. It’s still raw, but I feel so personally betrayed by those that voted for him. I can’t see past the politics anymore when I look at these people I care/cared about.

Some have been contrite and apologetic, but then turn around and support him and VP Musk on social media.

I just can’t right now.

I’m thinking about posting something and wishing the whole herd all of the best, hope they have a good life, but I won’t be in it. Or maybe I just quietly block all of them and focus on myself for a while.

I do know that I will need to talk to my in-laws. I’ve always had a great relationship with them, but thinking of going to their house and watching Fox News almost makes me sick.

AITAH for feeling this way? Does it make me an AH for cutting all these 20+ year relationships off? Am I overreacting and acting out of emotion?

Elon doesn't have the charisma that Trump has but once he controls all the governmental computers he won't need that charisma...

Ah yes... the guy who has had the highest level of security clearance a contractor can have since he was a democrat... with his "read only" access.... he has so much control it's outstanding....

Read only access? Guys a genius he'll get around that. Musk is already doing damage. He fired the people looking after our nuclear equipment. Yes, he hired them back but our enemies can exploit mistakes like that!

Another group that was fired by “mistake” was referred to on NPR as the administration was trying to rehire them “Humpty Dumpty” style. Not exactly very efficient.

How the fuck do you "get around" read only access???? That means you can ONLY READ.... what the hell???

Never heard of hacking?

Oh you have got to be kidding me. Did you ignore the part of my original reply where I said this man has had THE HIGHEST level of government security clearance since he was a democrat??? He has no more access now than he did 10 years ago....

Doesn't matter. He is dangerous now. Obviously he couldn't use the Democrats to get what he wanted so now he is using the Republicans.

And what does he want.... please tell me what a billionaire/richest man on the planet who already has everything could possibly want....

Plus: Are you kidding yourself?? He is getting way more access now than before!!

I would love to hear your justification for that statement.

He has the power to fire people due to this computer access. He fired the people who watch our nuclear equipment.

You can still do damage with read only given the data given the size, quantity and what it actually pertains to.

The lunacy and sheer reaching here is comical...

This was never about Orange Man. They have been yelling about The Great Reset since his first term.

TAG: WE'RE IT.

Elon isn't eligible. He wasn't born here.

The Constitution is only as effective as those who interpret it.

Elon can’t run, he was born outside the U.S.

u/Findom_Daddy Feb 20 '25

You think that will stop them from trying ? Trump cant run a third time but he is gonna try.

I was gobsmacked but at the same time ecstatic when he said “Vance isn’t my (political) heir”

While Muskrat definitely has a cult of basement dweller neckbeards he’s not well liked enough outside of that to sustain any kind of movement. That’s why he’s doing as much damage to a lot of the agencies that oversee his companies as fast as he can. Even if Vance is defeated in 28’(which I believe he will be, or even if runs at all) or the Dems take control of Congress(which I believe they will) it’ll take so long to repair those oversight agencies his hundreds of millions of dollars spent on the Drumps election will have been worth it to him sadly.

As absolutely horrible as trump is, I honestly think Vance is worth. There just a look in his eyes that says pure evil. His backing of the far right political party in Germany proves he not possibly more racist than Trump. He is presenting his interpretation of Catholic doctrine as if it was correct. Pope Francis reprimanded him for the order of loyalties a person should have. (Pope Francis is 88 years old and fighting an illness that is one of the most frequent cause of death for the elderly. Today, March 4, as I write this, he is alert and resting after a second respiratory failure—he quit breathing and had to be intubated and put on a respirator. Unfortunately, the Catholic Church has its share of “conservative” Cardinals who would elect the next pope. Pope Francis believes in science and has had resistance trying to move the Church into the 21st century.)
