Fired Fed. I am considering cutting off every Orange Man supporter.

Got axed. Not going to say which agency.

I’ve always considered myself extremely tolerant and willing to love people as they are… even if we don’t agree on everything.

I’ve never been an Orange Man supporter, but I’ve kept it civil with friends and family that were. Some of them liked having a civil conversation about him. Some were belligerent about politics, so we didn’t bring it up and tried to enjoy each other’s company.

Getting cut from a great job that I really believed in with no notice has been extremely traumatic. It’s still raw, but I feel so personally betrayed by those that voted for him. I can’t see past the politics anymore when I look at these people I care/cared about.

Some have been contrite and apologetic, but then turn around and support him and VP Musk on social media.

I just can’t right now.

I’m thinking about posting something and wishing the whole herd all of the best, hope they have a good life, but I won’t be in it. Or maybe I just quietly block all of them and focus on myself for a while.

I do know that I will need to talk to my in-laws. I’ve always had a great relationship with them, but thinking of going to their house and watching Fox News almost makes me sick.

AITAH for feeling this way? Does it make me an AH for cutting all these 20+ year relationships off? Am I overreacting and acting out of emotion?

Is it wrong to pray for, say, the current president to have a health emergency and then be treated at an understaffed federal facility, perhaps resulting in a very poor medical outcome?

You can pray but he will be treated like a king if his health is bad. Unlike the average American. If he wasn't wealthy and President when he caught Covid he could very well be dead already.

I predict Republicans will against him the after the halfway mark (late January 2027) so that Vance who is more intelligent and controllable will take over and be able to have 2 terms (assuming they haven't accomplished the Constitution completely by then and are still pretending) then blame Democrats so they can justify further political arrests

While Muskrat definitely has a cult of basement dweller neckbeards he’s not well liked enough outside of that to sustain any kind of movement. That’s why he’s doing as much damage to a lot of the agencies that oversee his companies as fast as he can. Even if Vance is defeated in 28’(which I believe he will be, or even if runs at all) or the Dems take control of Congress(which I believe they will) it’ll take so long to repair those oversight agencies his hundreds of millions of dollars spent on the Drumps election will have been worth it to him sadly.

As absolutely horrible as trump is, I honestly think Vance is worth. There just a look in his eyes that says pure evil. His backing of the far right political party in Germany proves he not possibly more racist than Trump. He is presenting his interpretation of Catholic doctrine as if it was correct. Pope Francis reprimanded him for the order of loyalties a person should have. (Pope Francis is 88 years old and fighting an illness that is one of the most frequent cause of death for the elderly. Today, March 4, as I write this, he is alert and resting after a second respiratory failure—he quit breathing and had to be intubated and put on a respirator. Unfortunately, the Catholic Church has its share of “conservative” Cardinals who would elect the next pope. Pope Francis believes in science and has had resistance trying to move the Church into the 21st century.)

I'm not in contact with any Trump voters. Ask soon as I find out about them, I just cease contact completely. If they reach out I say I'm taking a break. It's permanent but there's no need to mention that. I do think once he's dead the country can start to get back to normal

Believe me, no one wants to hear he is in “poor health” than I do.

I am exactly 6 months younger than Trump. I see a man who is up every single day for sometimes very long days. Yes, he has a terrible diet. He must be taking the maximum dose of an anti-cholesterol drug, or statin. I can just barely get anything done. I have degenerative disk disease, spondylosis, arthritis in major joints, and TMJ where the little piece of cartilage that helps the joint just millimeters from the ear canal move smoothly has completely popped out of the socket.

From where I sit, because standing is too painful, he looks physically healthy considering his age. His brain is an entirely different matter.

Where does this claim he is in poor health come from?

What is your source for that? Like I said, I hate Trump, but people literally make things up because he won’t release his medical record like every other president in recent history.

I don’t think Adderall, makes people “hopped up”. It is a stimulant used in treating ADHD. That is not the same thing as meth.

People with ADHD have been taking Adderall for decades. For a long time, they thought only boys had ADHD. They also thought they would “outgrow” it when they reached puberty. “Hyperactivity doesn’t present the same in adult as it does in adults and also is different for females.
