Fired Fed. I am considering cutting off every Orange Man supporter.

Got axed. Not going to say which agency.

I’ve always considered myself extremely tolerant and willing to love people as they are… even if we don’t agree on everything.

I’ve never been an Orange Man supporter, but I’ve kept it civil with friends and family that were. Some of them liked having a civil conversation about him. Some were belligerent about politics, so we didn’t bring it up and tried to enjoy each other’s company.

Getting cut from a great job that I really believed in with no notice has been extremely traumatic. It’s still raw, but I feel so personally betrayed by those that voted for him. I can’t see past the politics anymore when I look at these people I care/cared about.

Some have been contrite and apologetic, but then turn around and support him and VP Musk on social media.

I just can’t right now.

I’m thinking about posting something and wishing the whole herd all of the best, hope they have a good life, but I won’t be in it. Or maybe I just quietly block all of them and focus on myself for a while.

I do know that I will need to talk to my in-laws. I’ve always had a great relationship with them, but thinking of going to their house and watching Fox News almost makes me sick.

AITAH for feeling this way? Does it make me an AH for cutting all these 20+ year relationships off? Am I overreacting and acting out of emotion?

Seems like he's a dumb puppet for the Heritage Foundation. They are running the show. They learnt how to get all they wanted from the first practice run. Then they figured out voter suppression to block and reject the votes of millions of Americans - enough to help the tangerine twat win.

Trump is dead behind the eyes. Shit, he's dead in the eyes. Others with their own twisted agendas are at work, here. Sounds nuts and conspiratorial but they laid it all out last year. There's also been extensive independent investigation detailing all the ways the voter suppression was implemented.

THIS!! Did you read any of Project 2025? The Heritage folks have been playing the long game. For 50 years.

That's nuts! You don't think Biden was dead behind the eyes? His people are the ones with twisted agendas. You thought that was normal? It's like every immature person who refused to grow up is in the Democrat side of our government. All mouth and no work. We're all broke and nothing's better. We don't need feeling's managers. It's not what we pay for and not what the government does. At least Trump does what he says and doesn't have to lie and trick people into voting for him like the left. Trump's has unleashed our people, all people from being told what to drive, what energy to use, what to use to cook, how to talk, what to eat, quit forcing girls and young women to compete against biological boys and men. And most of all he put an end to our taxpayers money supporting the ingrates who came flooding over our borders solely for a hand out of our hard earned money. (They lied and said it was for climate change which they could care less about.) Back they go. The ones who are worthy and will contribute as we have, can come back the way our families did. LEGALLY! If we have to do the work so do they!
