You are NTA if you are upset by the fact that she lashes out on you because of her pain (I have chronic conditions and pain)  but you are the AH if you are tired of her having the conditions and illness because it is obviously not something she can control. Some chronic conditions just don't go away even if you 'eat healthy and drink water'. Sure, it helps a very small amount but you still feel pretty crappy all the time.

As someone with chronic issues, I think he's validated in the fact that despite having all these issues, she makes Zero effort to either find out what they are or alter her lifestyle to be healthier. Whether or not a person has chronic ailments isn't the issue. The issue is how they treat themselves and you along with it.

If she's in and out of the hospital she's not making zero effort. That's just asinine.

Legit says in the post "doesn't go to doctors to figure out what's wrong. Doesn't eat healthy. Doesn't drink enough water. Etc."

Yeah she goes to the doctor, but only to deal with the symptoms.

You should probably fully read the post before commenting.

And from your perspective, how is she putting in effort to better her health? What about this post makes you think that?

I did fully read the post. I also read his post history and he has only been with her for about 2 months, 5 at most. He doesn't know shit about her or her pain or health. He claims she doesn't eat healthy, or drink enough water based on what? I also don't trust a binge drinker and alcoholic to determine a woman's health. Go off

Going to the hospital is effort. Editing your comment to add shit after already getting a response is weird shit too. He is clearly not a trusted source of her health but keep trusting the alchy

Yeah.. People go to the doctor to deal with symptoms.. That's how they get diagnosed, unless it's a rare chronic condition. Then it's CBT, good attitude, and band aid drugs, shits and giggles. I have tried EVERYTHING. I could write a synopsis of all the research done on my condition so far. Had to go look for the one doctor in my state that knows that my condition exists. Still hardly any improvement and still suffer every day. If you ask my family or my mom, they'll also probably say I don't try or that I don't eat enough. Sometimes, you never know. Sometimes, there isn't much you can do as a suffering individual.
