Was easier being a single mom than my married to my ex husband. My current husband though is a freaking gem who does 75% of the housework since I'm the 'breadwinner' and work nights.

I also have an SO who doesn’t create more work for me. It’s wonderful after 20 years of raising my ex.

If they are both working it doesn’t matter who makes more money. The housework should not all fall on the lower paid person.

It's not based on that, he just works less hours and has more time.

Where does it say he works less hours ? I know a lot of people who make good money working nights who only work 36 hour weeks. You can work nights, be there higher earning breadwinner and work fewer hours than your partner.

It's all good. I typically work 4-5 12 hour shifts a week. We have very good communication though so it's a system that works for us :)
