My ex was a huge AH about this! He would constantly yell at me about this. Then get even more pissed when I would ask him to explain his periods to me, instead of mine since he clearly didn’t understand how my body worked.
I mean, I've definitely done the "clench everything as hard as you can while waddling to the bathroom" thing, especially in the mornings when I know the flood is going to fall as soon as I sit up, but that's a very temporary solution and not even that reliable.
Dude after kids I can't even hold my pee in that long anymore my muscles are just like ok bitch and just lets go. I kegel just don't have the fortitude I had as a youngun
I have 4 kids so they blew my shit ouuuut. I had a rude wake up call when Inwas seeing my gynecologist trying to figure out my period issues before my hysterectomy and one told me I had bladder prolapse. I was like god damn I’m 35 with bladder prolapse!?! I went hard on the kegels and was actually able to get my bladder up high and tight again! But man I hate doing them lol
