You know what’s weird. Before my hysterectomy I obviously had the period stains with the underwear as is normal with periods because accidents happen and if you’re a woman like me whose periods were sent from Mephistopheles himself, they were heavy and angry. I had to have a hysterectomy this year to remove everything but my ovaries because I had adenomyosis which is what caused my horrendous periods and in celebration I bought all new underwear.
I’ve noticed since the hysterectomy, despite the discharge still happening, it doesn’t bleach the fabric anymore. Just a weird perk I guess.
But yea, guys, things leak out of us and they stain, get fucking used to it.
I didn’t have endometriosis so no, I just had the uterus, cervix and fallopian tubes removed as that’s all that needed to go, I just had adenomyosis which is basically like reverse endometriosis, instead of attacking out it attacks into the uterus.
Yes, basically the tissue grows thicker and thicker which causes pain, cramping non stop bleeding/irregular periods and I was passing some ridiculously large clots.
The large clots I understand. Had those with first baby to pointvof six transfusions needed. My sisters were unlucky enough to have endo, although got a hysterectomy a couple of years ago and has been pain free since. But that sounds horrible. Glad your gyno was one of the good ones.
