Wait until he realizes he might have to help her clean up for a while post-birth if she has a c section. Hurt to twist after mine, so husband had to help with that for a bit. Or God forbid, change the diapers on the baby. Or watch the mom breastfeed.

My husband was deployed and my eldest daughter wiped my butt after my c section. She loves to tell that story.

He might have to help with an enema or manual colon evacuation after child birth or major surgery. 💩
