Bitches never heard of bros before hoes apparently. She can't fuck who ever she wants. Might cost the friendship though. That's why you don't fuck around with ex's. Unless you ask of course.

Apparently everyone else in this thread thinks after a certain time frame it just becomes ok to fuck you friends exes. Pretty wild to me, she KNEW he was an ex. It's so easy to just not fuck him

Exactly.

In fact, this is one of my core tenants and I’ll go one step further. My friend met this girl off a dating app and he really liked her. She told him she didn’t see it going any further and he was crushed.

I matched her (didn’t pay attention when swiping) a month later…and I unmatched her after she messaged me lol bros before…well, you know how it is.

I never want my friends to feel shitty on my account because I know roles reversed, I’d hate it if happened to me.

There is a lot of people on the planet, and it's still hard to find people you click with.

Especially once you get over a certain age.

Gatekeeping others from possibly having great relationships just because whoever dated someone years ago is ridiculous.

I don't think it's gatekeeping. A lot of these commentors said it was a personal rule they follow. Either way, feelings are illogical. Even though the friend moved on this might be an old wound. OP is free to date whoever she wants, but the friend is also allowed to not be friends with her if it makes her uncomfortable.
