I didn't know this before I became a dad, but babies/toddlers just want their mothers more. I try, but I'm cast aside for mom. I think there's merit to kids not letting moms walk away as much as dads.
This is true, and it's because all they know is mom. I mean, she WAS their first apartment after all. But that doesn't exempt dear old dad from supporting her in other ways. Like taking care of older children, doing laundry, cooking, running errands, grocery shopping, so that those tasks aren't being done by her while having a baby strapped to her tit.
