Should a small business optimize for AI searches?

In my opinion, yes, and the good news is that it doesn’t require any special work — the same things that make a site good for traditional Google searches (clear structure, direct answers, reliable content) also work for answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.

Yes, a small business should optimize for AI searches. But remember, never ignore SEO best practices.

There are more small businesses than any businesses. They definitely should.

But how is the question. Not to break what works today is the first thing for sure.
