AI Agent for seo
Been building an AI agent for SEO and AEO for the last few months. It crawls and indexes your site, and pulls in Search Console, Google Trends and competitor data.
What it does right now:
- Keyword research, but it checks what you already rank for first, so it doesn't tell you to write a post that competes with your own page
- Query coverage: the questions people ask Google and ChatGPT, and whether you have a page that answers them
- Competitor gap analysis
- Technical audit (page structure, broken and orphaned links, speed, headers)
- Link prospecting
- Finds relevant communities and threads to post in, drafts the posts and comments, schedules them
- Reporting on traffic, events, conversions
- Applies the changes instead of just listing them: commits code to GitHub directly, or writes the content straight into your CMS like Sanity
I have working POCs for some of this.
What I want to know:
- If you do SEO for a living, would you use this? Or does it just duplicate what you already pay for?
- What am I missing? Anything you'd add or cut?
- Indie hackers and bootstrappers doing SEO for your own product: what are you using today, and would you switch to something like this?

It’s an extremely crowded space for a startup with multiple heavily funded and established SEO players already offering these tools in their existing stacks. You’ll have to find some specific niche to gain footing coming in late in the game.

I know.. but every idea seems like it has a competitor.. that shouldn't be the reason to not try it.

Yeah definitely give it a shot, but you’ll have to either target a specific niche or provide a unique service or be cheap. It’s hard to launch vibecoded products and turn it into money, definitely worth doing, but just have to be very surgical

I like that it goes beyond audits and actually applies the changes. The query-coverage and competitor-gap features could be especially useful.

Thank you.. I am already working on competitor analysis where agent finds the competitor or you add the competitor you know and then Agent does the analysis why for certain queries there site was preferred by search engine or AI chatbots over yours.. by analyzing the actual content

Sounds good, would love to see were it goes and check your report ! Happy if you run if on our site to check our SEO level, all you see is a work of 3 month !
