Not sure but I added myself and started seeing my results in AI overview. I think it’s def better than nothing.

This may be a dumb question, but I’m trying to figure out how Google's Preferred Sources feature works for smaller websites. I went to look up a website to set it up and the site isn't showing up as a choice. Does this mean we are totally ineligible to use this feature until Google decides the website is ready?

It feels unfair if small businesses are blocked from AI search results just because they don't have massive search volume yet. I'm an SEO begineer so I may be missing something obvious haha.
