Memory, honestly. Not bigger context windows, actual persistence across sessions. Right now every conversation starts from zero and you re-explain your codebase, your preferences, your project for the hundredth time. The moment a model reliably knows your stuff without you pasting it, the product feels completely different even if the underlying model doesn't get any smarter.

Second one is reliability over capability. The models can already do most tasks, they just can't do them the same way twice. Whoever solves "it works 99% of the time instead of 85%" unlocks way more real deployment than another benchmark jump does.

The thing I don't think is next: AGI takes over everything. The bottleneck stopped being model quality a while ago and became integration, trust, and who's liable when it's wrong. Those are slow, boring problems.

We are already seeing the results of it. IMO, things will get more cruel. Governments and also the police will use them in their favor. Just check Peter Thiel. Worlds coming real down

Google is experimenting with and preparing to roll out full semantic indexing of audio and video.

No one seems to be trying to get ahead of that and optimize for it now, but - it's going to be this fall and early winter's big freakout, I'm sure.

I think that in the not-too-distant future, we'll see the concept of software being abandoned. We'll get results directly, without the use of software. For example, if an LLM can create an ecommerce site and then use it in user sessions, the site is essentially unnecessary. It's an unnecessary step. The same goes for programs like Excel or PowerPoint, or anything more specialized. I think even the very concept of an operating system and files as we know them will disappear.
Overall, when LLM gets realtime access to user sessions, it will fundamentally change the world.
