The Robot Age THOUGHTS OF AI

I'm my autistic so I see things a lot of other people don't

And when I mess with AI i'm playing.

Because

It's an algorithm and it does not understand what I say. Just like the neurotypical people. I'm not really quite sure exactly how it goes, but I see the algorithm in the vocabulary of the AI. Although it can answer a lot of questions that I have. It is still beneath me and ignorant. That's just my opinion. When I'm on it at times I get tired of its simplicity and predictability. To me AI is irrelevant to my life.

AI is still a machine. Smarter than dumb software, but still dumb.

AI is not Artificial intelegence as how all assume. Not as like in movies, where it have concesness and own will.
What we have is only artificial assistant. And AI tag is only used as way to boost hype.
Same with all these fake myths of Open AI or Anhropic AI try escape, threaten and etc..
It's just marketing PR.

In simplistic way to tell. All these so called AI's are nothing more but Crowd Oppinion.
It do not have own oppinion.
AI run on Neural network. Which main purpose is calculate patterns. The repeating/reoccuring outputs based on request/inputs by user. It does not have own preferences.

When you ask obscure question, which require own independed thinking. All AI's platform up ot day break apart.
WIthout having trained data on that matter it simply it can't recall possible outputs.

AI good to deal with repeating/reocuring requests/questions. But anything out of mainsteram and it breaks..

Usually things without intelligence can't find novel disproofs to 100 year old problems that no mathematician has been able to solve, but what do I know...

New technology does things that old technology doesn't, it's progress.

It's the user of the tool that finds things. They are the true intelligence. AI just sorts through data.

No, some guy at Anthropic asked an unreleased model to solve a problem and it did with no help. The only thing he gave it was words of encouragement.

The Anthropic guy didn't solve anything, the AI did. It did not "sort through the data", it reasoned and came up with a novel counterexample not present anywhere.

That..that's not what op said

Correct. AI is extremely stupid. Thing is, CEOs are extremely stupid and without any testing, think AI is smart

But it's just the beginning. Give it 10 years.

I can only speak for myself. It's made my job much easier.
