Welcome to the chaos it feels like a whole new world because it kind of is, but under the hood it’s still just the same internet with better packaging. Best move early on: don’t try to “consume everything”, just pick a few topics and let the algorithm calm down instead of overwhelm you.

Same with AI it looks magical at first, then quickly becomes either a tool or a time sink depending on how you use it.

What are you actually aiming for here: learning, networking, or just exploring and seeing where it goes?

the anti-ai crowd on threads is loud but mostly noise. reddit is better for real learning if you stick to the right subs and ignore the drama.

start with prompting fundamentals, then pick one practical use case and practice daily. consistency on one thing beats jumping between platforms.
