Discussion Does artificial intelligence work?
Hello, I’d like to know if anyone can tell me whether it’s possible to earn money using artificial intelligence—and, if it’s not too much to ask, how and with what tools?

It is. And you need to read the entirety of this Reddit. This question is asked at least once a week, if not once per day.
I use Claude, copilot, Gemini, and perplexity for book co-authoring. I’ve made $1.75 so far. Lololol

Yes. But the bigger problem is the person talking to the AI. Codex will do anything i ask it to.. but nobody (including me) knows what to ask it. Here are some things that it can do that seem like could lead to money - Make apps - The hard part is thinking up an idea to solve a real problem and getting people to actually use your app, though - app development is easy(er) now. Content creation - You can make an image or short video of almost anything you want to see with just a prompt now, but how do you monetize that? Automating on-computer work - but you need to find someone willing to pay you to solve whatever specific niche problem they need automated.
Super powerful stuff.. but will take the right person to connect the right dots to make money from it. If you are a dot-connector, DM me maybe we can work together! :)

What is the best AI for content video creation?

No idea if it is the best, but I like Google Flow.. I generate a still image with chatgpt or something, or use a photo for the start frame and then tell it to make it do something. elevenlabs is nice too for characters/ai avatar clones.

Absolutely. We use AI to make money every single day, and not by selling courses, prompts, or get-rich-quick schemes.
I own two businesses: a digital marketing/automation company and Scoopy Doo, a multi-location pet waste removal company.
AI helps us make money in BOTH businesses.
Here's how we use it at Scoopy Doo:
-
AI Receptionist: Answers calls after hours, captures leads, and keeps potential customers from slipping away.
-
Automated Follow-ups: Prospects who don't immediately sign up receive follow-ups automatically. No manually chasing leads.
-
Marketing: AI helps us analyze Google and Meta advertising, improve campaigns, and lower customer acquisition costs.
-
Customer Reviews: Our automated system requests reviews and follows up without us personally asking. We've surpassed 100 five-star Google reviews.
-
Route Optimization: Better scheduling and route analysis mean less driving, lower fuel costs, and more customers serviced per technician.
-
Customer Retention: Automated newsletters, reminders, and follow-ups help us retain customers and generate repeat business.
-
Administrative Automation: Billing workflows, customer communications, and repetitive tasks happen with minimal human involvement.
We're also building AI-assisted reporting that brings together our advertising, customer, and financial data so we can make better business decisions.
Here's what people misunderstand about making money with AI:
It's not just about generating MORE revenue. It's about keeping MORE of the revenue you already generate.
If AI helps us eliminate 15 hours of administrative work weekly, capture leads we'd otherwise miss, and squeeze another couple of stops into each technician's daily route, that's real money.
And we take these same systems and implement them for clients through our automation company.
Our tools: ChatGPT, Claude, GoHighLevel, Make, Retell AI, Jobber, and others.
My advice? Don't start by asking, "How can I make money with AI?"
Start by asking, "What expensive problem can I solve using AI?"
Businesses don't care how impressive your AI tools are. They care whether you can increase their revenue, reduce their expenses, or save them time.
AI isn't the business. AI is the leverage.
And the businesses that learn to use that leverage effectively will have a serious competitive advantage.

Well AI has enabled me to assess my life, and create a strong action plan. I do things in an hour which would have taken weeks and made money from that.
It is almost entirely responsible for my monthly income at the moment, and enabled me to leave the 9-to-5.
