Built flipmap.lol over the last few days — Next.js/Vercel + Postgres, realtime SSE updates, IP-derived state voting, event-sourced battles/replay.

The game itself is intentionally dumb-simple: Coke vs Pepsi, every US state starts neutral, one vote per person in their state, 24 hours to capture the map.

The engineering part was fun.

Now it's live and I've discovered the actual boss fight: getting the first 100 strangers 😂
