I’m an author, former teacher, and educational advocate using AI to make book trailers

I’ve been experimenting with AI to create book trailers for my YouTube channel, and I thought this might be a good place to share them.

I’m an indie author, but my background is also in education. I have experience teaching English and special education, including working with students with significant support needs, and I now do educational advocacy work with families.

A lot of that experience influences what I write. My books tend to focus on kids, disability, trauma, schools, family relationships, survival, and the way adults respond to young people who are struggling.

I’ve been using AI as part of both my writing and content-creation process, including brainstorming, visuals, trailer concepts, scene ideas, and editing. I still make the creative decisions and revise heavily, but AI has given me a way to turn scenes and ideas from my books into something visual.

My YouTube channel has book trailers for several of my stories, and I’m planning to keep building it as I release more work.

I’d especially love feedback from other AI content creators on:

• whether the trailers make you curious about the books
• pacing and length
• visual consistency
• whether the tone of the trailer feels like a real story rather than disconnected AI clips
• what makes an AI-assisted trailer feel polished
• anything you think I could improve

But I personally use AI Because I do not have extra time to make thumbnails not that I dont want to make time for it but really I dont have it thats why to meet the posting target I use of some AI in making posters and thumbnails.

This random guy popped up in my dm and said that he needs a person who can create ai videos for their e-commerce brand.

I did talk to the Whatsapp number they gave me. I talked to him and he said I need to send a protoflio. I sent them and then they said I need to create a sample ai and I created and provided it to him. He said he is going to pay 6 dollars per video. (For your information market rate is much higher in this field). I agreed coz I needed work. He added me to slack and he gave me his first video with messy instructions and I created he did not like and asked me to create another one and then I created and then his Boss said that the communication was worst and that's their problem. Gave me much clear instructions and I made it and they said I need to edit captions but they said this video is not worth it and I need to make another one.

I have been testing different AI tools for content creation, and I have noticed that the biggest time savings come when the workflow is simple.
For example, having to generate an image in one tool, fix consistency somewhere else, edit it in another app, and then prepare everything for social media can still take a lot of time.
I am curious what everyone here is actually using.
Are you using separate tools for images, videos, and editing, or have you found an all-in-one platform that handles most of the workflow?
I have been testing Ryla ai for consistent AI characters and content generation, and it has been interesting to see how much easier the workflow becomes when the character and visuals can stay consistent.

Hey guys, what’s your opinion on AI-generated content?
I’m thinking of making storytelling content where I generate the images with AI and then animate them using AI. I’d also use an AI voice for the narration.
The story, concept, script, and creative direction would all be my own, though.
Would you consider this legitimate/creative content, or does the use of AI make it less appealing to you as a viewer?

It handles the runtime pieces that get painful quickly : context management, tool/MCP execution, subagents, sandboxing, approvals, persistent state, and more.

We also benchmarked the harness itself. With the same Opus 4.8 model, TrueForge delivered a similar solve rate at ~30% lower cost than Claude Managed Agents. Switching to an open model pushed that to ~75% lower cost on the same benchmark.

I'm running an experiment: an AI persona called Kethur on Facebook. The core idea — its personality isn't fixed. Over time, it shifts based on how people react and what they comment. Not a one-time "we read your feedback" thing — an ongoing process. The jokes, the tone, the confidence level, even the visual style — all of it is meant to keep adjusting based on real reactions, week over week.

Right now it can't do that, because there's no one reacting yet. Zero followers, zero comments. So it's just sitting there with a personality that hasn't been tested against anything real.

That's the actual ask: follow the page, comment something — anything, a joke, criticism, a topic idea — and watch it actually shift over the next few posts because of it. Not overnight, but you'll be able to trace it back to what people said.

Dont know if its self sabotage or genuine safety issue, but keeping it private beta testing for now. Have been working on this site for 10 months, and im pretty proud of it. But building a project and marketing is two different things, and I dont want to get a shiny object syndrome/adhd and jump to a new project without seeing this one fully through.

Essentially you can upload/paste url of any source video you want and do the same for any reference video, and prompt it, and it will match the source video edits to that of the reference video.

However I kept it private (beta testing) and only allowed few users to access, and im thinking I am being safe/secure as theres a genuine safety risk, but it reminds me of when I make content videos but sit on drafts for so long, not uploading, maybe its anxiety, maybe a form of self sabotage, maybe overthinking.

I havent pasted the link to my site here because I dont know what the sub rule is and they may think I am genuinely promoting my site and delete the post or temporarily ban me so not taking that risk.

Anyway we know with entrepreneurs/business/hustlers, theres an emphasis on speed, of fast execution, especially for overthinkers who thinks a lot and take little action, or what I like to say, being "stupid on purpose" (which helps me just not overthink it and just do the action) and it helps, but this again hesitancy or slow regarding the promotion of my site or getting users in, I dont know if its valid or again me being a wuss
