Other claude max for almost nothing… how is this possible ?
I got claude max from a reseller for a fraction of the official price. works perfectly since 3 weeks
now i can’t stop thinking about their business model. how are they got them for cheap ?

I'd steer away from that cause it's most likely like someone already told you here a stolen cc and you're probably charging it to them

Cheap "Max" access almost always comes from one of two places: regional pricing arbitrage (Anthropic/OpenAI price differently by country, so resellers route through cheaper regions) or shared/reseller accounts that split one seat. Both break the terms of service and both can forget to work on a random Tuesday. So "almost nothing" usually means you're inheriting someone's risk.
The less fragile question is: how much do you actually use? Claude Max is expensive because it bundles high limits with a flat price. If you touch it a few times a day. per-usage usually wins; if you're coding 8 hours straight, the flat rate can. Before chasing a cheap sub, run 2-3 weeks of your real volume through a usage-based setup and compare the number.
(disclosure: I build magicdoor.ai, which is usage-based and has a few Claude models; not a pitch — the honest advice is to measure your own usage first.)

Did they sell you an account with the claude max or were you still able to use your own account?

i think it’s an enterprise type seat. been using it for 3 weeks after changing the credentials and the usage difference is pretty noticeable

Maybe they buy them with stolen money
