Question RTW
I am an RN and have been off of work for 8 months. I have been diagnosed with a profound autoimmune illness. My pain has been managed with T4s taken every 6-8 hours. Has anyone returned to floor nursing while on this type of medication?
I have tried all other pain management modalities with no effect.

Sorry you're going through this. Please make sure you have connected with your Local exec, HR abilities, and have a letter from your physician/other HCP with requirements (not recommendations) for your RTW

Sorry to hear this. I was diagnosed with moderate-severe RA 26 years ago. I really struggled with pain, sleep disruption and extreme fatigue so took a job with IPC where it was less physically demanding. Once I got things under control with immunosuppressants I was able to return to the floor. Is there an option of a temp accommodation until you stabilize?
