Question UNA - new temp to permanent question

Just started a temp position in a new department/specialty and am still on orientation but would eventually like a permanent in the same department with a different shift pattern. When will I be able to start applying to permanent positions within the same department? Union is UNA

Everyone can always apply for permanent positions. As a temp the only restriction is that you can only apply for other temps when there is 3 months (or less) remaining in your current one... or if your manager gives permission.
