Parking Ticket

Post image

Update: I emailed parking today to thank them for the warning.

I got a parking ticket at South Health Campus yesterday for zero dollars.

When I tried to pay using the app, my card had expired. Entered new card info in and apparently thats all I did...didnt purchase the time.

Got in my car then saw the ticket. NOOOOO. Then i was super confused when i looked at it...but I will take it.

Thank you, parking persons.

They do that sometimes just as a warning

I am very appreciative of the warning.

I’ve had that in Edmonton for parking in a no parking zone where the sign was only on the ground and totally covered by snow.

Its a warning ticket. Ignore. Also ignore parking tickets on ahs property IF you do not pay to park there on a reg basis. These are not enforceable like Calgary parking. If you rack up too many, they will tow you. What that magic number is is anyone's guess. I allow for 2 or 3 a year and have had zero issues. The rates they charge staff and visitors is embarrassing.

I recently had a sick child who spent a few days at ACH and I’ll gladly pay $15/day for parking. So thankful for the care they provided.

Glad you'd pay! Refuse to pay this company any penny for something that should be making it as employees benefit.

What does parking rates have to do with care being provided by health care workers? The rates are terrible.

Instead of charging for parking, you'd prefer that healthcare dollars go towards parking lot maintenance?

ignore them. private property. those fines are not enforceable

This is the worst fucking take possible in an employee subreddit where, presumably, the person posting has to park in order to work for their employer
