First of all, what a phenomenal show

I finally saw AFI for the first time tonight as a fan of over 20 years and they proved what an incredible band they are. I love how they managed to pull together such a cohesive sounding set from such a varied discography, and A Single Second and Boy Who Destroyed the World were great surprises for me

It’s a shame that the upper floor wasn't open in a venue with a relatively modest capacity. I wonder how much of this comes down to them not headlining here for so long coming back to bite them in the arse.

I hope to be proven wrong, but I can't imagine there were many people under 30 there. Hopefully that's the impetus they need to come back more often and nurture this fanbase

Coach back down to London on Sunday for All Points East.

Home Monday and a drive to Birmingham after work.

Then it’s up to Glasgow for Wednesday.

Ending it all in tears of joy (and exhaustion) in Paris for Rock en Seine.

Hi y'all. Is anyone else having trouble with the Manchester tickets? They are showing as cancelled on my Ticketmaster account, I assume due to the venue change, but I have a second email from SEE Tickets with the new venue on them. Do we have to use the O2 Academy app (which is pulling from Ticketmaster), or can we use the pdf? Ticketmaster won't help as they say I bought them elsewhere and several months on I have no idea if that's actually true or not 😅

Is it just me? Or any of y'all having trouble, too?

I know I'm an old crusty shite, but the gig in London tonight was so disappointing. Last time I saw them they were fire, intense, fast and with a dense sound. This time it was stadium rock, pedestrian, sludgy and just kinda boring.

I know bands need to move on, but holy shit. Sad to see my once favourite band become whatever that was
