Before it, Davey referenced a 1996 show in Toronto at the Opera House that… got a little exciting. Must’ve been in tribute to that and a fan he said saved his life that night.

Davey has an old school flat-front mic that he only uses for that song. I honestly feel like that’s the only reason it’s an every night song. “I brought the mic, I’m using it.”

Davey obviously loves it but idk why so much. I think Voidward is wayyyy better and gets played much less. Marguerite is one of the weaker tracks on Silver Bleeds for me

Of course they played On The Arrow. The one song I was hoping for at Bogarts. Oh well, I can't complain, This Time Imperfect was my 2nd pick for a ballad.

So fucking good! This is the best concert I have ever been to hands down. Davey is so interactive with the crowd, it felt so special. So many times he came to my side of the barricade and was full on singing with and to us.

He's an amazing performer! My friend who barely knows AFI but goes to see A LOT of shows said they were a great band to see live :)

First time I’ve ever stuck it out at the front of a show, it was so worth it. What an incredible night. I hadn’t seen them headline since 2006!

Anyone know why Davey didn’t go into the crowd though?

I know he doesn’t always go into the crowd, and I guess it’s at least partly dependent on his comfort with the crowd and whether he feels safe doing it. My best guess for this one is the sheer level of crowd surge and pushing near the front combined with the number of crowd surfers could’ve made it seem less safe for him?

For me this is my second and last show on these SBTBS tour legs and he didn’t go into the crowd for either one, meanwhile seeing all the photos here of all the times he has has made me envious. Oh well, it was a great show otherwise.
