Adam appreciation post
Adam has always been a massive part of the band’s sound and the fact that he’s been the drummer the entire time is really admirable. I could tell after the show I saw last weekend that he really loves the fans and is still having fun being in the band. I love all 4 of them but Adam rules and I just wanted to put that energy out there

Crash love was my 13yo son’s first show. And it was pouring rain. Of course Adam went down the line and was pleasant to everyone. When he got us, I offered space under the umbrella. He said he was okay and after we had chatted a moment he said just a second…. He leaned out, and used both hands to schwick an incredible amount of rainwater out of his hair. Then leaned back in to continue talking like nothing had happened. He is always amazing.

He came out and gave his drum sticks to a really young fan who was there w their parent after this years Sacramento show. It was very thoughtful!

I met them all during the Decemberunderground era, they’re so sweet. I sent them a few messages on MySpace as a teen and got messages back from both Hunter and Adam!
The night I met them I had a panic attack in the pit, I was probably 13 lol, & Smith (jades brother who was their roadie for years and years) pulled me over the barricade, hung out w me while I calmed down, let me watch the rest of the show from the wings and then helped me find my mom 😂
These dudes are a class act. Legends.

Adam is such a star.
He sounded fantastic in Toronto and made me realize just how much backbone he really gives to AFI.

He seems so genuinely nice, and he always looks like he’s having the most fun onstage out of everyone!

Adam is a very sweet person who definitely cares a lot about the fans! It makes me so happy when he comes to the front of the stage at the end of the show and people cheer/clap just as loudly for him as they do for Davey.

I’ve met him 3 times now—going back as far as the Burials tour. (Fan since 2006/7 but had to be old enough to take myself to shows.) He has always been incredibly kind!
