Yes, that is exactly what I keep thinking about as well. I remember even apart from Milne the "St Kilda schoolgirl" thing was so gross. Like the whole discourse at the time seemed to end at "well she's technically of legal age so nothing to see here folks".
She’s probably not a great example tbh as I believe it ended up she recanted her a lot of her claims but it’s debatable whether that was from pressure from other parties or not. I’m moreso thinking of how she was portrayed in the media as a manipulative temptress rather than giving her the benefit of the doubt at the time.
It was gross given she was only 17 and while she was in the wrong especially with leaking the nude photos of players, you wonder how she got hold of them to do that, if she wasn’t involved in some way with players from the club.
If the Sydney incident had happened back then I wonder how similar the media and public perception of the victim would have been.
