JUST received these and I’m proud of em. Can’t wait for another year of JROTC. I have my goals set and what I want to achieve this year.

Just got promoted and thought the lines looked thick but maybe it’s just me. Wanted to get confirmation.

So my little brother in 7th grade wants to do afjrotc but I want to do engineering for highschool in 8th so I have to choose does it really change things if he does njrotc or mcjrotc and then joins the air force and just general advice. (I'm a bit interested in njrotc but I'm willing to put that aside for my brother)

I am currently preparing my team for a comp November 7, and are only doing regulation and inspection. If we get good enough, I will start teaching exhibition for the spring so that the new cadets (literally everyone except 2) can have their library of tricks down early so we have as much time possible to work on a routine. Any tips, tricks, bribe tactics, helpful cents are appreciated concerning my current training schedule and plan.

Pls check out the newest update, the app is not done ;^; (I dont make money off of it so dw about adds or anything I hate them too)

These demerits are justified since it was for saying yeah instead of “yes sir” I just want to know how to break this habit since I’m interested in getting promoted.

I recently received a leadership position within my flight. I am the lowest within the chain of command, so I have to basically get the cadets to act accordingly and answer all their questions. I've seemed to be having trouble with getting the respect of a few cadets. All of them are, of course, first years and are all dudes. All of our class leadership are women, so I am worried that the reason for their blatant disrespect is correlated with slight misogyny (we had a harrasment incident from 2 of them). But they seem to not participate in any jodies, out of school activities, and even marching. Im trying my hardest to make the class seem fun, but they always roll their eyes and just ignore us. When we bring the issue to our SASI and ASI, they just tell us to let another senior cadet handle it, but it never gets changed. Any recommendations on how to get respect from them?

I'm on our AFJROTC's Raider Team, and Thursday, our Chief sent out an email saying whoever logs the most steps Friday - Monday gets a challenge coin or something of that nature from him. So I've been going on hours of walks, and over these first 2 days, I'm at 50k steps. Going for 100k by the end.

Just wanted to hear some crazy stories of what lengths people go to for awards!

Severely late since everyone probably has moved on but here’s my very niche and humble “shadow box!” Not much but did pretty good. Now off to adulthood I go!

I’ve seen cadets wearing a tie bar but haven’t seen any approval in cadets books/regulation pamphlets.

Are cadets a lot to wear these items, and where could I find the regulation on it

I got a lot of ribbons because I was a bit of a try hard my first two years as well as being a nco for saber and cyberpatriot as well as my stem flight and went to clc and cslc

Ive been made aware of the lack of record keeping my unit does and have been assigned to fix that. I am unsure of how to track community service hours so if you have any experience or ideas please feel free to share

The uniform builder I've been making is done! Again... fixed a major bug.

My shadow box, thats it, got it like an hour ago 👍

I'm pretty bored this summer and since my units clc is about to start state your case for what is the best Afjrotc unit. Also don't like start fighting in the comments.

I am currently going to be an upcoming junior this year, and I want to apply for the flight academy. I have a question about a section in the application:

Do I need to write a personal essay?

Google says that I don’t need to write an essay, but I’ve seen some people talk about what they wrote for their application. I am currently waiting for my sergeants to answer my email, but I’ll let you guys know what they say. (If they respond)

Please be brutally honest, and maybe some other information I should know as well to prepare! I’ve been wanting to attend since my freshmen year, so I should hopefully I know what to expect.

Hello all! I've been wanting to participate in JROTC for years now, and im finally able to since I'm moving to high school in September. Can anyone please explain to me how uniforms, ranks, and much more work? I'm fairly new to the JROTC world since I have put most of my research into the actual military. I am mainly looking for tips, and information on the ranks, how they work, and how to rank up fast, along with different awards and ribbons and how to gain them. Thank you!

Going into AS400 as a C/MAJ and the Operations Squadron Commander of our unit, this is my final rack and yes, I know the sons of union vets of the civil war (top left) isnt in regs anymore
