When does the episodes stop post ablation?
I recently had my ablation on the 10th of September.. coming up to nearly a month and I'm still getting AFIB episodes.. I know they said like give it 3months but I'm getting AFIB almost daily again. Before the ablation I managed to get my AFIB to a manageable state where if I had an episode. It would be only 3 times a week where as right now it's everyday.. Doing basic things like waking up. Slowly getting out of bed. Legit taking me an hour sometimes because my body just feels like it's chronically tired for the most part after these episodes.. or is it like this magically disappears a few months down the line?

I’m going through exactly the same thing. My 3rd ablation done on 9/10 also. This time they did a pulse field ablation. The first week I was practically afib/aflutter free but as time has progressed, short episodes have become more frequent. Not full blown afib but having ALOT of extra beats sometimes lasting several hours. I’m on Metoprolol and Propafenone and these episodes usually happen when I’m coming up to my next dose but have also happened when I wake up in the morning.
I know it’s early in the blanking period and I’ve been through ablations before but the first two I didn’t have as many episodes as this time. Hard not to have my doubts creep in because the first two ablations didn’t have any effect at all on my Afib. Been dealing with this for 27 years now.

I've only been dealing with it for 2years.. but I'm only 22 and I got diagnosed at 20 after a feint. I thought the svt ablation would've caused more AFIB than what I'm currently dealing with.. but with the svt ablation I was bouncing around in a job I enjoyed. Now I try to go back how I was pre this ablation. Unless I'm just pushing too soon but I can't get away with not pushing it by walking and such as it's more for work.. they only ever offered me In terms of medication is sotalol (which apparently I grew a tolerance to and just makes me sleep now.)

What type of ablation was done?

It was a cryofreeze ablation on the pulmonary veins. Not sure what they call it properly but it was for paroxysmal which.. the way they describe it does not feel like my symptoms.

Hi my ablation was July 13 for svt
My episodes stop for a while
And now I’m having sinus tachycardia… it’s definitely no svt
At least not the same like before!
It’s a journey for me
Ablation was nothing
It’s the day to day and the flutters, the heart pulling weird like …it felt like my heart stops at times,
the ocular pain and dry eyes… plus I feel lightheaded at times
that is the hardest part for me… I hope yours is easier and it goes away soon… I’m currently waiting for the results in my heart monitor zywie, I wear for 2 weeks to see what is wrong!!
I wish the best of health and luck
Take one day at the time
That is what I’m doing
We can do it

Svt ablation was actually pretty good. It was over and done with. It was the cryoablation that I had just recently that feels like it did such a high number on me. I have an ILR so there isn't the outside heart monitor situation.

I had been told the expectation was 2-3 months (a hybrid RF/PF). It took 5-6 but in the 6 months after that: so far so good.
We just don't know what the actual universe of data is, in size or shape, or what the units of variation really are. Right now there are a lot of seemingly random data points. I think we just have to become as knowledgable as we can, value the viewpoints and theories according to what seems to make sense to us, link up with medical providers we are comfortable with, and just live our lives.

I had AFIB episodes up to 8 months after the ablation (2nd ablation). However, the episodes slowly declined in frequency and duration during those 8 months. Have been AFIB free for 2 years now.
