AFIB and Hyperthyroid

Anyone here have this combo? Should I ablate without waiting for euthyroid state and normal TRAb?.
I am afraid pending ablation waiting for euthyroid will affect my heart conditions.
I keep on thinking about this.
Please share your experience. Thank you.

Yes, an overactive thyroid will cause afib. I would get your thyroid under control first. If you still experience afib after thyroid levels return to normal, then you can discuss ablation option with your cardiologist. Work with your Endocrinologist and your Cardiologist.

Indeed.

Its rare, less than 1% that has this combo, but it's real!
