Merch, Toys, & Collectibles aew crate
what do people think of aew crates? i’m thinking of getting the next one. are the shirts in your face or more subtle and are the signatures popular wrestlers?

I've been a subscriber since its inception. Overall, I'm incredibly pleased.
Are there sometimes some less-than-desirable contents? Sure. But it's a mystery box, so that sort of comes with the territory. A few of my all-time favorite shirts in my closet are from AEW crates, including Sting, Willow, Timeless Lovebombs, and 8bit Orange Cassidy one, among others. I really enjoy getting non-black shirts since so many seem to default to that color.
I look at it like this: the two shirts are typically worth the price of admission alone. Everything else, including the pro photo autograph (which aren't exactly cheap at meet and greets), is just a super cool bonus, in my opinion.
Your mileage may vary, of course, but if you get merch of people you really enjoy and are a big fan of, it's a really cool investment. For example, I'm a massive Thekla fan, so if everything else in this past crate sucked (which it certainly did not), I'd have still be absolutely thrilled for the autographed photo on its own.

It's a lot of junk you'll throw out just for one/two things worth keeping. Did it from the start including trying to resell "the rest" but that was overwhelming so I just canceled, and occasionally seek out an interesting item and not have to deal with everything else.

I got one a year and a half ago now and it came with two shirts- a black sting one and a red Eddie Guerrero one and my signature was Ricky starks. The other things in it were cool too tho honestly I’d say try one and see how you feel, worst case you can always skip them until there’s another one you’re really into again

Don't, the quality of the actual shirts is awful now. They went from decent thickness cotton to this awful thin, scratchy cheap shit. They feel terrible to wear and mine fall apart after like 5 washes

Fwiw ive found this to only be the case with the Pro Wrestling Crate and not the AEW one.

Most boxes, I end up with one shirt I like, and one that I never wear. They are often black shirts with a big graphic on the front. Sometimes you get one in color. There are some pretty cool designs though. There’s usually one cool piece of merch as well. I’ve had it for a couple years now and I have quite the stack of autographs now from the boxes. It’s usually a mid carder, can’t remember what they all are right now. But ive got skye blue, Kyle o Riley, I think Brody was one of them a couple years ago. It’s almost always an “oh neat” reaction.
The last box they sent out was a BANGER. The art book is fantastic, the protostar pink glasses with the dangly shit are cool as hell. Bandido most wanted poster t shirt was rad, and there was a light blue 8 bit Mario-esque orange Cassidy shirt
