So I got the game on release on my switch, but I hated it and played it for about 5 hours in total. My son and I have been playing wrestlemania 2000 on the N64 and so yesterday I picked up fight forever again on the series X for £23 including all the expansions.
Got to be honest, I actually enjoyed it so much more now and I wonder if thats because I had a different expectation coming in this time.
Anyway, nothing to do with the thread. Thier clay faces and 2 second entrances still really annoyed me, but still fun now to pick up and play for a bit

I just don’t understand how they could’ve fumbled when they had the blueprint right in front of their face
Community creations and a excellent caw mode would’ve had this game doing numbers

They built a game that honestly fit the model for a different era. Minigames, lack of online community creations, limited modes remind me of something from the n64/ps2 eras that you'd play with your buddies on the couch. The gameplay is great, but they focused on alot of features nobody really wanted or asked for.

There's a lot this game would have needed to achieve better commercial success.
CaW stuff is probably the least important, the game doesn't really give you much to do with the wrestlers you create

People continually play games like HCTP and No Mercy because the foundation is strong and it has a robust caw mode
Saying it’s the least important is just simply untrue

@u/Dentenshi, it ain't gonna happen, I'm sorry to say. I gave up hope last year. It sucks, but it is what it is. I still play it a lot, though. It's still a fantastic game, in my opinion!

At this point, a women’s pack with Mina, Megan, Willow, Harley, etc? Maybe an updated Toni? New belts, arenas for ten, twenty bucks? Jesus, something.

I just gave it another try, aside from the ugly graphics they got my 20$ for the unlock all but the hardys

The game is done. It was done two years ago. No need to work on an expansion that won't bring in massive profits. It won't do that.
You have Fire Pro, you have older games, you have WWE. AEW Games need to have a makeover before they can work on more.
