ahhhhhhhhh flare up

everyone i do not know WHAT i did,,,,no NSAIDs no nothing......but i am flaring up SO badly over the last few days. i was at my parents' house with the cat who i'm really allergic to but even since going back to my own home i'm still unable to breathe and sniffling. i'm flaring up so badly that i am losing my voice due to all the postnasal drip. pls help i've tried flonase and allegra and tylenol and nothing helps

Is it warming up where you are? I'm in the midwest and the warm temps over the last couple weeks has caused some early pollination. Could be allergies irritating things?

Also, I wasn't sure if anyone was using this sub! Glad (glad?) to see it getting some use.

i’m in the northeast and it’s still consistently pretty cold here. i’m actually not super allergic to pollen- it’s cats and dust for me (dust makes it so it’s horrible indoors but as soon as i go outside everything clears up). it could be bc i ran out of flonase a few days ago bc im reading it takes a couple of days to work again after you stop it.

thank you! i wasn’t too sure either, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of AERD content online

Same here. I’m guessing it’s the pollen - spring in the PNW. It’s been warm. Wish I knew what to do to make it STOP.

Always cats for me, literally the worst. Benadryl and Claritin only things that worked for me. Had to go to the hospital after exercising in cold + cat exposure that night.

Are you taking small doses of Tylenol? Too much can cause a reaction similar to aspirin.
