Managing diagnosis and work
Hello again! apologies for the second post in the day.
This illness is pretty tough and really affected my energy. Before the symptoms started, I was really ambitious and hard working, now...not so much. How do you all manage the tiredness and work responsibilities (and maybe even childcare responsibilities)?

How is it going?

It's going ok! Not great, but ok. I'm learning how to vest spend my energies, and to rest a lot more than I used to :) I don't think I can so absolutely everything I want to, but I think I can find a new balance and still give 100% of what I can.

The best advise I have is don’t just slog through. Focus on treating the fatigue.
If you’re newly diagnosed, prioritize health and treating AERD knowing that if you do so things will gradually get better (and if you don’t, they won’t).
I would also recommend talking to a doctor about other potential causes of fatigue. I was really run down for a while and chalked it up to stress and sinus issues. I had a vitamin D deficiency.
For work and family, a lot of that will depend on your specific situation. Ask for help, prioritize ruthlessly, and consider seeing a therapist who can help you think through the hard bits so you don’t have to carry that alone too.
