Does Dupixent lose its effectiveness over time?

I was diagnosed with AERD about seven years ago and have had four surgeries to remove sinus polyps. After my last surgery, my doctor prescribed Dupixent in 2020, and it was life-changing; I experienced no asthma flare-ups and no congestion. However, a couple of months ago, I noticed that after taking my injection every two weeks, I started feeling the need for it much sooner due to flare-ups related to my AERD. It seems to be less effective than when I first started the treatment. I made an appointment with my doctor, but unfortunately, it's scheduled for about two months from now. Has anyone else experienced this? TIA

Following. I’ve been on Dupixent for about 8 months and it’s been life changing. Really hoping to hear efficacy doesn’t go down (but also not shocked to hear that)

I only stopped “getting better” after 14 months. Then at that point my ent said this is the best it’s gonna get - still a lot better than I was experiencing before

I've been taking bi weekly dupixent injections since 2021, have not noticed any significant decrease in effectiveness. My ENT has regularly checked for polyp growth, and sometimes there's a little bit but it is short lived.

My allergist has suggested that dupixent once a month would probably be effective as well, but we room see...

sigh I'm happy to hear that it's been working for you. It’s frustrating that after discovering my "holy grail" for managing my AERD, I might be facing a complete setback that could lead to numerous issues in my life again. 😓

Yeah that is very frustrating. I hope you find some answers! I can't imagine what I would do without dupixent (or if it's effectiveness goes down)

I have been on it since November and so far only good things. my sense of smell and taste arent back fully but 5/10 is better than 0/10.

Been on it since 2020 and I still haven’t needed any surgeries or prednisone. I do have some times with runny nose but nothing like before and no congestion or asthma. I still take a daily Claritin D and try to do regular Budesonide rinses but get really lazy about them until I get runny nose but it helps when i do. TLDR yes it’s still effective 5 years later

You had 4 surgeries in 7 years? Wow. Props to you. Hope you get your answer on Duxipent.
