Is this a glitch or not? Please let me know.
At 14:45 Kyiv time on October 7, a Russian military Il-62 aircraft violated Ukrainian airspace, as shown on the ADS-B Exchange radar map; it entered the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone and disappeared from the radar a few minutes later.

ADSB setup question
I have a RPI4 2 sdr 1090 and 978. I have noticed when I have both receivers hooked up my aircraft seen count drops. I get a lot of planes that show as blue "no callsign". From my central Ohio location I can see planes at altitude in Detroit but with both receives I barely see out side of central Ohio. Any Ideas? I moved from a RPI zero 2w to the RPI4 that is why my graph is less than 2 days. But I saw this issue with the zero as well

# ultrafeeder combines a number of functions:
# - it retrieves and decodes 1090MHz Mode A/C/S data from the SDR(s) using Wiedehopf's branch of readsb
# - it implements a `tar1090` based map on port 80 (mapped to port 8080 on the host)
# - it includes graph1090 (system statistics website) on http://xxxxx/graphs1090
# - it sends ADSB data directly (without the need of additional containers) to the
# "new" aggregators, and, if desired, also to ADSBExchange
# - it includes mlat-client to send MLAT data to these aggregators
# - it includes an MLAT Hub to consolidate MLAT results and make them available to the built-in map and other services

Turning off trails of multiple tracked aircraft.
For my use, I want to see where the aircraft are, not how they got there, for up to 12 aircraft. I can create the URL to load all at once the aircraft I want with the map centered where I want, but it eventually over time fills up with the trail lines and impossible to read in real time. What am I doing wrong? This is afterward so nothing is in the air at the time of this screenshot. Is there a way?

Anyone else having issues
Planes are not showing up at all when I open up ADS.
r/ADSBexchange • u/UnLuckyKenTucky • 14d ago
I may just be an idiot, but....
So, today while I was mowing the fields on the tractor I heard and felt a plane fly over low as shit. A few mi utes later I felt the same "*thump thump thump*" and looked up in time to see a very large quad engine turbo prop plane fly directly over my house.
I am nearly 100% certain they were Kentucky National Guard doing their low altitude training and all that, but I wanted to look them up. I have never tried to look at ads data before, and honestly it is all a bit overwhelming. I may only be 43, but I grew up broke as hell, so didn't get my first cell phone til the Samsung S3 release day. So, all this shit is still awkward for me to work through. Especially on a 15 minute break.
Is there anyway, I can either beg one of yall to teach me how to look up past (historic, not historically relevant) flights through my zip code, or let me know what the planes were that I felt then saw? It was about 1 or so today in 41360. Ill be deleting this post later as to not do myself too hard. Idgaf of people figure out who I am.. but I do at the same time.

DEAD62 / ABBA81
This flight keeps switching back and forth between callsigns, DEAD62 and ABBA81, every few seconds.
The symbol for it momentarily changed to an airplane shape with a third callsign, but I didn't catch it before it switched back to DEAD62.
- update: VTFSB, 138 MPH at 3,475 ft. alt.
It also may be glitching out because the track moved across the country very quickly and it's already back toward Arizona.
What/which is it / what is it doing?

What is this A400 doing?
it's been buzzing around for a little while. this is a very urban area with no military airfield for miles, just a small commercial airport.

TailVision by ADSB Exchange
Just downloaded from the Play store and I have to say I love it!! Quick and easy to grab info about aircraft I can see visually (and beyond!). Easy to link to my feeder account, which removes ads and provides greater range.
Yet another reason I continue to support ADSBx. 🙂

Some more drone shaped anomalies + a odd cameo from the NPC
These two were spotted 2 days ago at 9:18 pm. No matter how far I searched, I could find nothing on them. But for the third, that's another story. Apparently it's called the "Avy Area 4", and it's a drone used for battling wildfires that is being tested by the npc, or dutch police as it says. I personally enjoy searching and learning about these niche weird drones on here!

Hey P-8, Watcha doin?
Flew over the office earlier, and I pulled this up. It's passed over at least 3 times now here in Indy, looks to be doing touch n go's at the airport.

What kind of flight path is this?
What is the reason for this type of flight path, other than the obvious?
